The present invention relates to an underground steel valve chamber installed in the ground and wherein a valve body connecting a pipe line is mounted inside and, more specifically, to an underground steel valve chamber resistant to soil pressure, capable of preventing deformation and damage caused by a soil pressure and a load by strongly resisting the load supplied from the upper side and the soil pressure applied from the lateral side. The underground steel valve chamber resistant to a soil pressure according to the present invention includes: a bottom frame; a lateral frame installed in a vertical direction along the edge of the bottom frame and forming a maintenance chamber wherein a valve body is installed; a cover frame covering the top of the lateral frame; and an entrance frame installed in the upper side of the cover frame and providing an entrance for the maintenance chamber. The lateral frame includes: a lower supporting plate and an upper supporting plate coupled to the bottom frame and the cover frame respectively; reversed L-shaped reinforcing supporting plates connecting the lower and upper supporting plates; and lateral plates connecting the lower and upper supporting plates and the two reinforcing supporting plates facing each other. The lateral plate is characterized by having a soil pressure resistant structure of which left and right parts are concave in a longitudinal direction to resist soil pressure. |
