Provided are a method and apparatus for processing an image. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: tracking a plurality of users who view a three-dimensional image outputted from a screen; and generating the three-dimensional image in each of a plurality of areas based on a tracking result, wherein the areas are formed by dividing a screen based on the number of the users.
