The present invention relates to a transformer and a power converting apparatus including the same. The power converting apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a converter part which converts DC power of a solar cell module and includes interleaving converters, and a control part which controls the converter part. The control part changes the switching cycles of the interleaving converters, corresponds to a variation of the switching cycle, and changes a phase difference for the operation range between the interleaving converters. Thereby, high-efficiency power conversion can be carried out in a power conversion process.
