A liquid-absorbing sheet which can be easily pulled out one by one from a bundle of liquid-absorbing sheets. The liquid-absorbing sheet (1) comprising at least a core-shell type composite fiber, said liquid-absorbing sheet having a first surface (2) that defines the thickness thereof and a second surface (3). The surface roughness of the first surface (2) is within a range of 1.5-2.5 mum, while the surface roughness of the second surface (3) is within a range of 2.0-3.5 mum and larger by at least 0.4 mum than the surface roughness of the first surface (2). |
