The fitting (C) has a small arm which is connected to one end of large arm (4). An eccentric pin (6) is arranged at another end (5a) of small arm through a slot extending in the leg (3a) of hinge bracket (3). The eccentric pin during opening movement of large arm and swiveling of small arm is guided in the slot along the leaf spring (7) arranged at hinge bracket. An eccentric region of the eccentric pin is moved with opening movement of ridge (7a) and is locked between the slot end and ridge, before the end of slot is engaged by ridge of the leaf spring through the slit laterally. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for operating fitting; and (2) plate spring.
