Disclosed is a carrying case for portable electronic devices, such as notebook or laptop computers. The case has two sections 4, 6 and a pair of privacy screens 10, 12. The privacy screens are moveable via openings 24, 26 in the case, between a retracted position in which the privacy screens are contained in the lower section and a deployed position in which the privacy screen extend along the opposing sides of the upper section. Guide means 14, 16 extend from within the lower section to the opposing sides of the upper section for assisting with the deployment of the privacy screens. The screens may be made from a flexible resilient plastic. The guide means may be a slot or channel in which the edge of the screen is held and can move between the retracted and deployed positions. |
