The effectiveness of the decompression is improved, the range of options is extended and the application of the method is more pleasant and more effective for the patient because the segments (6) have a plurality of rising support elements (7), wherein the patient (3) can be supported at least partially by the support elements (7), wherein the support elements (7) can be disposed at different heights in such a way that the arrangement of the support elements (7) can be adapted to the contour of the patient (3) in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, such that the patient (3) is held in an imprint formed by means of the support elements (7). |
