The present invention discloses a backlight unit. According to the present invention, the disclosed backlight unit includes a light guide plate which is formed on the rear of an optical sheet, and includes a protrusion part formed at a portion of a side surface. In addition, the backlight unit includes a cover bottom disposed on the rear of the light guide plate, and extended toward side surfaces of the optical sheet and the light guide plate. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the flowage and wrinkles of the optical sheet from being formed. |
