Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a display method of an electronic apparatus which displays a user interface screen of various content, and an electronic apparatus thereof. A method for operating the electronic apparatus comprises the following operations: identifying whether a current period is a specific period; acquiring content related to the specific period; and providing the content as a part of a user interface. In addition, various embodiments of the present invention include the described embodiment, as well as other embodiments.
