PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly reproduce an image without giving discomfort to a viewer.SOLUTION: An information processing device having a difference between the frequencies of an image signal and display means includes: means for performing the deletion of surplus frames to be generated when the frequency of an image signal is higher than the frequency of the display means and the interpolation of missing frames to be generated when the frequency of the image signal is lower than the frequency of the display means; means for detecting a motion amount between a frame to be displayed in the display means and the latest frame of the frame to be displayed in the display means among the multiple frames constituting the image signal; and a buffer for temporarily preserving the motion amount detected concerning the latest frame. When the motion amount in the frame to be displayed in the display means is equal to or less than the first value and also a difference from the motion amount in the latest frame temporarily preserved in the buffer is equal to or more than the second value, the surplus frames are deleted or the missing frames are interpolated. |
