PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling brace lower part attachment metal fitting capable of transmitting stress applied to a ceiling brace to a ceiling backing material without difficulty.SOLUTION: A ceiling brace lower part attachment metal fitting 50 is used for fixing a lower end of a ceiling brace 5 to ceiling joists 2b in an attic, and includes: an angle material 51 which is arranged over the plurality of ceiling joists 2b, 2b; and a lower end fixing metal fitting 55 which is attached to the angle material 51 and to which the lower end of the ceiling brace 5 is connected. The angle material 51 is placed on the ceiling joists 2b so that a folded mountain faces upward, and is fixed to the ceiling joists 2b of both sides thereof respectively via fixing metal fittings 52. The fixing metal fitting 52 includes: an angle material fixing part 52b covering the angle material 51 from above; and ceiling joist fixing parts 52a respectively provided at both ends of the angle material fixing part 52b and covering both side faces in the crosswise direction of the ceiling joist 2b from above. |
