<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time stamp application device capable of retaining relation among files to which one time stamp is applied, while enabling detection of falsification. <P>SOLUTION: A scheduler part 42a designates a plurality of arbitrary files to be time stamp application targets. An ERS management file generation part 42c generates an ERS management file including relation among a plurality of arbitrary files. A time stamp and data file acquisition part 42b performs issuance request of one time stamp for the plurality of arbitrary files and the ERS management file to a time stamp station 5, and acquires a time stamp issued by the time stamp station 5 through a communication I/F part 41.
