An exercise bar comprises first and second parallel loading pins 2 adapted to have weights placed thereon, the loading pins being interconnected by loading axis 3; first and second handles 8; and an interconnecting bar 9 extending between the first handle and loading pin and the second handle and loading pin and may be the only part of the apparatus passing through the central region of the apparatus. A central region of the interconnecting bar is spaced at least 25cm from the loading axis in a first direction and does not obstruct the opposite direction. The handles may be perpendicular to the loading axis, and each handle may be associated with one of the loading pins. The loading pins may be arranged along the loading axis. The interconnecting bar may be spaced apart from the loading axis over a length at least 20cm. The bar may be a tricep bar. |
