<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize display for improving efficiency in an editing operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a preview of document data is displayed, selection of an original display function for displaying an original page or a print display function for displaying a layout of the original page in printing is received, and setting of a layout in which plural original pages are arranged on a sheet of paper is received.
