<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall provided with a ventilation layer, on which mortar can be applied more stably compared with a convenient construction method while enough thickness of a ventilation layer can be secured, and further the number of necessary material parts and the number of work processes can be reduced by using a waterproof sheet for a ventilation method, which also serves as a waterproof layer of the external wall of a building, and further to provide its construction method (ventilation method) and the waterproof sheet for the ventilation method. <P>SOLUTION: For the external wall having the ventilation layer 5, the resin-made waterproof sheet 1 with a plurality of tapered projections 2 is attached on the undercoat 3.
