The present invention relates to an ESS control and management system for providing a QoS guaranteed high-speed BSS transition in a wireless LAN environment, which identifies traffic conditions of each BSS in the ESS overall perspective in a wireless LAN environment, can continuously guarantee QoS to a wireless terminal that requires a transition, and enables a QoS guaranteed high-speed BSS transition as a network selects an AP which is the most appropriate for traffic load distribution or the like. In the ESS control and management system for providing a QoS guaranteed high-speed BSS transition in a wireless LAN environment including an ESS-CM part and a BSS/AP part, the ESS-CM part periodically gathers traffic information from a BSS agent installed in each BSS/AP part, and manages upstream and downstream traffic information for each BSS and each access category (AC) in a database, so as to select an AP which can continuously guarantee QoS and enable a high-speed transition. |
