The opening and closing device has a guiding device for guiding a door (2) e.g. garage door. A connection element (8) e.g. round strap, connects a traction system (7) e.g. sash balance, with an anchoring point e.g. orifice, of an anchoring device e.g. pulley. The anchoring point is not located in a traction axis of the connection element when the door is in a closed position. The anchoring device is connected to the door, and located in an inner space of a protection shell (19), where shape of the shell is complementary to that of the guiding device. |
