1. A coated detergent particle consisting of
a core consisting of surfactant and optionally, at least one of soap, water, fluorescent agent, perfume, carboxymethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene imine, ethoxylated polyethylene imine, water soluble polyester polymer, polycarboxylate, polyacrylate, maleic/acrylic acid copolymer, lauryl methacrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, enzyme, or enzyme stabilizer; and a coating consisting of inorganic salts, pigment and optionally, at least one of water, fluorescent agent, perfume, carboxymethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene imine, ethoxylated polyethylene imine, water soluble polyester polymer, polycarboxylate, polyacrylate, maleic/acrylic acid copolymer, lauryl methacrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, enzyme, or enzyme stabilizer;wherein from 20 to 39 wt % of the coated detergent particle is the surfactant;
wherein the surfactant is selected from: anionic and non-ionic surfactants;wherein from 10 to 40 wt % of the coated detergent particle is the inorganic salts
wherein the inorganic salts are selected from: sodium carbonate and sodium sulphate; wherein at least 5 wt % of the inorganic salts is sodium carbonate;wherein from 0.0001 to 0.5 wt % of the coated particle is the pigment,
wherein the pigment is selected from: organic and inorganic pigments,wherein the coated detergent particle has perpendicular dimensions x, y and z, andwherein x is from 0.5 to 2 mm, y is from 2 to 8 mm, and z is from 2 to 8 mm. |
