a juvenile seat includes a seat shell, a tether and a swaddle harness with one end of the tether coupled to the seat shell and an infant-swaddle restraint means for enveloping an infant reclined in a supine position in an infant-receiving space so that shoulders, upper torso, legs, and feet of the infant are substantially covered to swaddle the infant, wherein the tether passes thru the seat shell and a second end of the tether is coupled to the infant-swaddle restraint means and wherein the swaddle harness is coupled to the restraint means to inhibit movement of the infant-swaddle restraint means relative to the seat shell while the infant-swaddle restraint means is located on the seat shell.
