<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of occurrence of inflaming in an arc term to induce ready occurrence of sputtering due to no formation of a previously set output waveform as output controlled for a resistance value in a wiring state different for different working site such as in case of a long distance between an arc welding device and an welded object, in case of using a cable of thickness (sectional area) different for different construction side and the like in a conventional arc welding device. <P>SOLUTION: A method of controlling arc welding in arc welding performing welding by repeating a short-circuit state and an arc state using a consumable electrode includes the step of obtaining a voltage difference which is a difference between a previously set reference voltage and a welding output voltage detected in a short-circuit term, the step of obtaining the resistance value by dividing the voltage difference by a welding output current detected upon detection of the welding output voltage, and the step of controlling the welding output voltage in an arc term following the short-circuit term based on the resistance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
