<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide storage furniture in which insect proof performance is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The storage furniture includes: a door 30 at an open end of a cabinet 2, of which one end is opened, in a freely openable and closable; and a packing at the open end. The door includes a front plate 6 covering the open end of the cabinet, and a handle 7 provided at one end of the front plate in the longitudinal direction. The handle includes a handle body 7a and an end cap 10 covering an end face of the handle body in the longitudinal direction, and the handle body includes a finger hooking piece 8 arranged on a surface of the front plate, and a support piece 9 where a rear surface of the front plate and a rear surface of the support piece are arranged to be substantially flush with each other. The support piece includes a step across the total length in the longitudinal direction, on the rear surface thereof. At the end cap, the engagement boss is provided which can be press-fitted to the step and in which a rear surface thereof is arranged to be substantially flush with the rear surface of the support piece by the press-fitting. While the door is closed, the rear surface of the front plate, the rear surface except the step of the support piece of the handle, and the rear surface of the engagement boss of the end cap abut on the packing so that the rear surfaces are substantially flush with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
