1. An apparatus comprising:
a media transport to move a print medium along a first axis in a first plane; a first support configured to support a first portion of a web; a second support configured to support a second portion of the web; and a drive configured to linearly translate the first support relative to the second support along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and in a second plane parallel to the first plane to adjust a length of a span of the web between the first support and the second support for servicing one or more print heads, wherein the drive is configured to translate the first support between a first position in which the span of the web between the first support and the second support extends across the media transport and a second position in which the span of the web between the first support and the second support is horizontally retracted from the media transport.
