PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect live-line gripping tool including a lock mechanism for preventing separation of a movable grip portion from a fixed grip portion, capable of manual locking and unlocking by a lock mechanism, and in which a member for transmitting local operation to the lock mechanism is not arranged externally.SOLUTION: In an indirect live-line gripping tool including a grip mechanism 2, an insulating operation rod 8, an engagement member 85 and a lock mechanism 6, the insulating operation rod 8 has an operation rod body 81 and an axis side member 82, the operation rod body 81 is fitted over the axis side member 82, and slidable in the axial direction thereof. When sliding the operation rod body 81 to the grip mechanism 2 side, rotation of the insulating operation rod 8 in the direction of separating a movable grip portion 4 from a fixed grip portion 31 is locked, and when sliding the operation rod body 81 in a direction separating from the grip mechanism 2, the lock mechanism 6 is unlocked, and the insulating operation rod 8 can be rotated in the direction of separating the movable grip portion 4 from the fixed grip portion 31. |
