The purpose of the present invention is to provide a ready-to-assemble furniture that can be easily assembled by a user and that can be inexpensively manufactured. The ready-to-assemble furniture, in which a suitable number of wall surface component members that are adjacent with a prescribed included angle are coupled, is configured so that a coupling metal piece having a toughness couples the wall surface component members which are transitioned, by way of lifting operations by an assembler, from a pre-assembled state, which is one wall surface component member stacked on another, or which is a deployed position, to an assembled state having a prescribed included angle, wherein the coupling metal piece maintains the relative position of the wall surface component members by plastically deforming by way of bending stress generated in the coupling metal piece due to the lifting operations. |
