<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discriminating device for a plurality of sound sources that can specify respective sound sources such as an acoustic musical instrument, a natural sound, a human, and a living creature when the plurality sound sources generate sounds simultaneously, and an information processing device interlocking with the plurality of sound sources. <P>SOLUTION: After sounds generated by the plurality of sound sources are recorded and acquired in the form of a digital acoustic signal (S210), frequency analysis of the acoustic signal is performed to generate feature data based upon a temporally averaged spectrum (S220), correlation calculation on the generated feature data and registered feature data registered in a sound source database is carried out to specify a sound source corresponding to registered feature data having a maximum correlation value (S230).
