The present invention relates to a clutch actuator having a clutch detection device which detects the position of a clutch using a permanent magnetic linear contactless displacement (PLCD) sensor, comprising: a dual cylindrical housing having an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder; a piston which is provided to allow sliding between the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder and the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder and configured to operate a clutch mechanism of a vehicle by a fluid pressure; a ring cover which is provided to be movable integrally with the piston and surrounds the outside of the housing; and a magnet which is provided at one side of the ring cover to be movable integrally with the piston, thereby the present invention aims to simplify the structure of the piston or the housing.
