<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for an electromagnetic clutch that can satisfy a reduction of impact sound at a clutch meeting time and absorption of vibration during operation. <P>SOLUTION: The coupling 10 for an electromagnetic clutch includes a hub 11 mounted on a rotating shaft 6, and an elastic body 13 elastically connecting an armature 5 axially brought into contact with or separating from a rotor 4 by power on/off an exciting coil 2. The armature 5 includes a locking member 14 inserted so as to be relatively displaceable in an axial direction and having one axial end that can project to the rotor 4 side, and a locked member 15 that is integrally provided in the axially middle part of the elastic body 13 and can abut on the locking member 14 in the axial deformation process of the elastic body 13 when the armature 5 is magnetically attracted to the rotor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
