The present invention relates to a method for producing an aqueous minoxidil solution, which comprises the following steps: producing high-density recombinant lipoprotein by mixing apolipoprotein, phospholipid, and cholesterol; and dissolving the high-density recombinant lipoprotein and minoxidil in water. More specifically, the formulation of minoxidil into the high-density recombinant lipoprotein mixed with apolipoprotein, phospholipid, and cholesterol can increase solubility of high concentration minoxidil in an aqueous solution. Thus, the aqueous minoxidil solution produced by the present invention can reduce skin side effects caused by an existing minoxidil-containing hair growth solution which has been processed into a product dissolved in an existing organic solvent. Further, the aqueous minoxidil solution can be used as a pharmaceutical composition which is more effective in the treatment for alopecia. |
