摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle that can achieve hybrid vehicle demonstrating a drive assist function and an energy recovery function by an affordable system configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for hybrid vehicle includes: a main drive source (engine); a main drive wheel; an assist drive source; a transmission; an assist drive wheel (rear wheel) 4b; and an assist control means. In this case, the assist drive source is an air motor 101 for driving by using high pressure air energy inside an air tank 103 and the transmission is a continuously variable transmission 10 obtaining a continuously variable transmission gear ratio. In addition, an air compressor 102 is provided for converting the drive energy from the assist drive wheel 4b to high pressure air energy and storing in the air tank 103.
