PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing an energy saving operation while maintaining a user's comfortability.SOLUTION: An air conditioner of the invention includes: indoor temperature detection means for detecting an indoor temperature; human body detection means for detecting an activity amount of a human body; and a remote controller 30 setting a reference indoor setting temperature, and controls air conditioning so that the indoor temperature is equal to the reference indoor setting temperature. If the activity amount detected by the human body detection means is equal to or smaller than a predetermined activity amount, the air conditioner conditions the air so that the indoor temperature is equal to a corrected indoor setting temperature obtained by correcting the reference indoor setting temperature. If a state in which the indoor temperature is lower than the corrected indoor setting temperature continues, the compressor is stopped. The compressor is re-activated on the basis of the reference indoor setting temperature. |
