<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibiotic-containing fraction produced by a microorganism having an unprecedented effectiveness, an antibiotic obtained from the same, and a method for producing the antibiotic; further, to provide an antibiotic-containing fraction and an antibiotic selected from the antibiotic-containing fraction and the antibiotic through evaluation for not only antibacterial activity but also a therapeutic effectiveness; and further, to provide an antibiotic-containing fraction and an antibiotic showing a therapeutic effect against multidrug-resistant bacteria, and a microorganism control agent containing the antibiotic-containing fraction or antibiotic. <P>SOLUTION: The antibiotic-containing fraction obtained by culturing a microorganism belonging to a genus Lysobacter having an accession number NITE P-870 and fractioning the cultured substance, the method of manufacturing the antibiotic by separating and purifying the antibiotic showing antibacterial activity an/or showing a therapeutic effect against infectious disease from the cultured substance, and the antibiotic obtained from the cultured substance are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
