The invention relates to a method for producing a high-strength, hybrid continuous profiled element. According to said method, roving containing reinforcing fibres is transformed into a profiled shape, and the profiled roving is coated by a plastic layer by means of an extrusion process. The invention also relates to a highly rigid, hybrid continuous profiled element.
