PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a triphenylamine derivative that improves photosensitivity in low temperature environments when used as a hole transport agent of an electrophotographic photoreceptor; a production method thereof; and an electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: A triphenylamine derivative represented by the general formula (1) is used.
