The present invention provides a transformer. The transformer includes an iron core part; a coil part wound around the iron core part; an upper clamp part which is located on the upper side of the iron core part; a lower clamp part which is located on the lower side of the iron core part and is located in a region corresponding to the upper clamp part; and a lateral plate part which is connected to the upper clamp part and the lower clamp part. The lateral plate part includes a lateral main plate arranged in a vertical direction and a lateral sub plate arranged at the upper end of the lateral main plate. So, a transformer having a structure which is strong enough to withstand magnetic-mechanical force, can be provided.
