The present invention relates to a light emitting board type input/output device for the aged. The device includes: a substrate unit in which unit switching cells composed of an LED and a magnetic switching circuit for operating the LED are arranged in a grid array and which includes a control unit for operating the unit switching cells and an interface circuit for connecting an external device and the control unit; a casing board which accommodates the substrate unit and includes a semitransparent flat cover to recognize if an LED emits light through the top of a unit switching cell from the outside; and a magnetic switching module which has a semitransparent thin round lens on the top and a transparent magnetic holder into which a magnet is pressed and fixed on the bottom and with which a user turns on or off a unit switching cell by moving on the flat cover. Using an internal program, an external control unit controls an LED to emit light to be recognizable from the outside. When an elderly user turns on a unit switching cell by moving the magnetic switching module, the operation information of the unit switching cell is shown to the elderly user and at the same time is inputted to or outputted from a computer or a smart device through the interface circuit. The benefit of the present invention is providing an input/output device for the aged which helps the aged use a computer or a smart device easily by expanding the usage recognition capability.
