Provided is a modified resol-type phenolic resin, comprising a structure unit represented by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, X is a functional group represented by chemical formula 2, chemical formula 3, or chemical formula 4; R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of which carbon number is 1 to 12, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group of which carbon number is 1 to 12, a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, or a hydroxyl group; R2 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of which carbon number is 1 to 12; R3 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of which carbon number is 1 to 12 or an aryl group.
