PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress the number of discharge of UFPs.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing device 37 that has a heating part 373 and heats a toner transferred to a sheet to fix the toner to the sheet; a first path 381 and a second path 382 that guide the air exhausted from the fixing device 37 to the outside of the apparatus; a shutter 384 that opens/closes an exhaust port 38B of the first path 381 and the second path 382; and a control part 5 that closes the exhaust port 38B with the shutter 384 when a continuous heating time by the heating part 373 reaches a predetermined threshold or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
