PROBE AND SKEW CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust delay in a probe to remove a skew between two differential signal sides.SOLUTION: A probe 100 comprises: a first input end 102 which receives a first input signal; a second input end 104 which receives a second input signal; a first cable 112 which is connected to the first input end 102; a second cable 114 which is connected to the second input end 104; and a delay device 116 which is connected to the first cable and can be electrically adjusted. The adjustable delay device delays the first input signal, and removes the skew between the first and second input signals. An amplifier 120 receives the second input signal and a first input signal from the adjustable delay device 116. The probe calculates the amount of skew on the basis of various methods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
