PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot which can be made slim and compact, and in which an arm part and a peripheral member are prevented from interfering with each other.SOLUTION: A robot comprises a base part, an arm part and a balancer. The base part is disposed on a mounting face. The arm part is so connected to the base part that a base end can turn on a rotation axis disposed generally in parallel to the mounting face. The balancer is connected at one side to the base part and at the other side to the arm part individually rotatably. Moreover, the arm part has a pair of arm constituting plates individually connected via the rotation axis and facing each other, and the balancer is arranged at least partially between the pair of arm constituting plates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
