Disclosed in the present invention is a material burr removal apparatus. According to the present invention, the material burr removal apparatus comprises: a material detection unit which detects a burr formed on a material; a grinder unit which removes the burr detected by the material detection unit from the material; a movement unit which moves the grinder unit; and a control unit which controls a drive of a movement unit in accordance with the shape and position of the burr detected by the material detection unit to remove the burr while the grinder unit moves in contact with a surface of the material.
