According to the present invention, an apparatus and a method for calibrating a clutch curve of a dual clutch transmission (DCT) system comprises: a clutch curve storing part; and a clutch curve calibrating part. The clutch curve storing part stores a clutch curve identifying a relation with a clutch apply stroke for transferring a transferrable torque and a corresponding torque of an engine. The clutch curve calibrating part performs learning of the clutch curve depending on a drive state of a vehicle, generates a clutch curve in accordance with a learning result, and calibrates the stored clutch curve. The clutch curve calibrating part divides a torque area into a first torque area and a second torque area in accordance with a value of the transferrable torque of the clutch curve, calculates a grade of a line connecting a point of a first learning value as a learning result of the first torque area with a point of a second learning value of a learning result of the second torque area, and generates a clutch curve based on the grade. According to the present invention, when a clutch curve used in the DCT system is calibrated depending on a learning result, a grade of a high torque area can be calibrated in accordance with the characteristics of an actual clutch. |
