摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an enough toner reduction rate without deteriorating the image quality of a printing structure in a printed matter.SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 comprises a print data acquisition unit, a pixel type discrimination unit 3313, a first counting unit 3314, a second counting unit 3315, a determination unit 3316, and a density adjustment unit 333. The print data acquisition unit acquires an image in a printed matter as image data. The pixel type discrimination unit 3313 discriminates whether a black dot included in image data is a contour adjacency dot. The first counting unit 3314 counts the number of block dots included in image data. The second counting unit 3315 counts the number of contour adjacency dots included in image data. The determination unit 3316 determines whether a determination rate which is a ratio of the total number of contour adjacency dots included in line data to the total number of black dots is not less than a prescribed value. The density adjustment unit 333 adjusts a print density of black dots included in the next line data of the line data in which the determination rate was determined to be not less than the prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
