PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector that can surely maintain the engagement between connectors and easily release the engagement between connectors.SOLUTION: A plug connector has lock portions 44 as a pair of elastic flat plates which are arranged on a pair of confronting wall portions of a plug housing portion and extend to a board KB connected to a plug contact portion along an outer wall 41a while spaced from the outer wall 41a of the wall portion, parts of the pair of elastic flat plates being disposed in an internal area, and lock release operation portions 45 as a pair of flat plates connected to one ends of the lock portions 44 which are exposed to the outside when the housings are fitted to each other and extend to the outside of the board Kb so that the end portions 45a are located at the outside of the end face of the flexible board Kb. When the interval between the end portions 45a is narrowed, the fitting between a through hole 26d and a projection 44a is released by approaching the lock portion 44 to the outer wall 41a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
