PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DI can and a DI can manufacturing method, which can suppress an ear tear, even if an aluminum alloy material having a high anisotropy (i.e., a high ear ratio) is used to reduce a can weight, and which can suppress the cracking at a flange molding time, so that the productivity of the can be enhanced to keep the quality satisfactorily.SOLUTION: A bottomed cylindrical DI can W2 molded by subjecting a plate W of an aluminum alloy material to a drawing treatment is characterized in that said plate W has an ear percentage of 2 to 4%, and in that the value, which is calculated by dividing the material volume of the trunk 11 of said DI can W2 by the surface area of said trunk 11, is set at 0.13 mm/mmor more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
