The present invention relates to a virtual item auction management server using a pay bidding method and a virtual item auction management method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the virtual item auction management server using the pay bidding method comprises: a member authentication unit which processes a member authentication on a seller terminal of a seller who wants to sell a virtual item and a purchaser terminal of a purchaser who wants to purchase the virtual item; a sales condition management unit which receives a sales condition for the virtual item from the seller terminal and manages the sales condition; an auction management unit which, when participation points preset from a plurality of the purchaser terminals are used, holds an auction of the virtual item; and a virtual item management unit which, when the auction is successful, registers the virtual item through an account of the purchaser terminal and registers a bid point of the virtual item from the purchaser terminal through an account of the seller terminal. Therefore, the purchaser provides a predetermined participation fee upon auction of the virtual item, thereby minimizing a loss of the seller and compensating a user by using an advertisement or a game. |
