PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain sensor with which it is possible to increase the linearity of a resistance change and reduce variation in measurement accuracy.SOLUTION: The present invention is a strain sensor comprising a substrate having flexibility, a CNT film provided on a surface side of the substrate and having a plurality of CNT fibers oriented in one direction, and a pair of electrodes disposed at opposite ends in a CNT fiber alignment direction of the CNT film, wherein the CNT film has a plurality of cleavage-causing areas disposed in a form of a regular or a random pattern in a plan view. The cleavage-causing areas may be an area in which the CNT fiber is partly cut off. The cleavage-causing areas may be an area in which a portion of the CNT fiber is cut off or modified by laser irradiation. The cleavage-causing areas may be an area in which the CNT fiber in the modified area is parted by tension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
