PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce security risk in an authentication station apparatus handling plural encryption methods in which secret keys over plural generations are used.SOLUTION: The authentication station apparatus includes a secret key holding part and an issuance control section. The secret key holding part holds plural secret keys corresponding to the encryption methods over plural generations, in which the cipher strength is different from each other depending on the generation. Receiving an issuance instruction, the issuance control section controls to issue a public key certificate by using a first secret key corresponding to an encryption method the cipher strength of which is the highest.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
