PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately exclude the number of requests that are not the object to be counted and accurately count the requests that are the object to be counted.SOLUTION: A packet monitoring device 10 has: a storage unit for storing an acquisition time that is the time of day when a packet including transmission source information and destination information is acquired and a counter value in correlation to a combination of packet transmission source information and destination information; a determination unit 101 for specifying from the storage unit, upon acquisition of a first packet, the acquisition time correlated to the combination of packet transmission source information and destination information included in the first packet, and determines, from the acquisition time, whether a condition is met that a time from the acquisition time till a time of day when the first packet was received is shorter than a prescribed time; and a management unit which, when it is determined by the determination unit that the condition is met, increments, by a prescribed value, the counter value stored in the storage unit and correlated to the combination of packet transmission source information and destination information included in the first packet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
