PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide precursor composition excellent in film-forming properties in which a polyimide precursor using a first tetracarboxylic dianhydride having a benzene ring to which two carboxylic anhydride groups are bonded is dissolved in an aqueous solvent.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyimide precursor composition in which a polyimide precursor, which is composed of a condensation polymer of a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride containing a first tetracarboxylic dianhydride having a benzene ring to which two carboxylic anhydride groups are bonded and a second tetracarboxylic dianhydride and a diamine compound, is dissolved in a first aqueous solvent containing water and at least one water-soluble organic solvent selected from the group consisting of a water-soluble ether-based solvent, a water-soluble ketone-based solvent and a water-soluble alcohol-based solvent or in a second aqueous solvent containing at least one water-soluble organic solvent selected from the group consisting of a water-soluble alcohol-based solvent, a water-soluble ether-based solvent and a water-soluble ketone-based solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
