PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reinforcement structure of a plastic bottle having favorable shaping property and capable of preventing collapse of cargo in a corrugated carton-boxed state by lessening the compression deformation amount of a weight-saved square plastic bottle while enhancing a buckling strength against a load in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: The reinforcement structure of a plastic bottle 1 has a mouth part 10, a shoulder part 20, a trunk part 30 and a bottom part 40, and the trunk part 30 comprises a plurality of wall parts 31, and corner parts 32 connecting the wall parts 31 with each other. In the plastic bottle 1, peripheral grooves 50 passing over the wall parts 31 and the corner parts 32 are formed. The depth a1 of the peripheral groove 50 at the wall part 31 is deeper than the depth a2 thereof at the corner part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
